June Glitzy Glam Bag. Contest Prize

It's here lovelies
My June GGB from Halener Rustique is here and I couldn't be more thrilled.

I collect all my packages at work since I'm never at home to collect. Also I entered a contest with Halener and I won *happy dance* and guess what I won. *****drum roll please**** the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette. Screams hysterically..... Ok ok I'm calm again...

This is the package that I got my stuffies in TTPOST ugh, they take so long to deliver packages.

Here is my NAKED 2 and I just love that the colours are so umm *blush* naked...

Look at these gorgeous colours and there are 3 matte colours in it. In order of appearance
Foxy (Matte), Half Baked, Booty Call, Chopper, Tease (Matte), Snake Bite, Suspect, Pistol, Verve, YDK, Busted, Blackout (Matte). Aslo a Lip Junkie

Now onto the good stuff. Do you like my little leopard print pouch? This is what my stuffs came in.

This month there were no pigments but the items were well worth the wait and the price. ($100 TT inclusive of delivery). Look at the beautiful bracelet I got as well (Forgot to take an up close pic).

What do we have here?  Rice Powder which can be used after putting on your make up. Like a setting powder, it helps with the oil so I can't wait to try this.

Then we have Like MAC Venomous Villains Blush, I tried to do a swatch but it comes up looking nude in my skin so all I could see was the little shimmer.

Aside from the fact that Blue is my favourite colour I think I would love this Urban Decay 24/7 Shadow Stick in any colour. This is Clash and just look at that swatch, it's very pigmented.

Along with all that I had ordered some dotters as well so they came in my package.
Can't wait to use these since I've been waiting forever for them..

We've come to the end of another post so I hope you enjoyed what you saw. Leave a comment tell me what you think, recommend a friend to this blog...

Thank you

Bye girlies

Nail Challenge Week 3 - Fashion Inspired

Week three's theme was Fashion Inspired and I had no idea what to do, but I had this T shirt that you could say I lived in, I was always wearing it and I really loved how it combined roses and the chains with the cross.

This was the accent nail which is upside down for some reason and I can't seem to fix it. The base is Kleancolor Pearl Silver, the flower is XO nail art Red and the cross OX nail art Black.

I was trying to accomplish doing roses but they didn't come out to good, they failed

My collage

My inspiration

A closer view of what I was trying to accomplish

You'll see the coming weeks as soon as I can get time to blog again.

Ta ta ladies and men

Nail Challenge Week Two - Yellow

I've never been one to wear such a bright colour as yellow but I made an exception and plus I didn't really use too much of it. I had seen this mani on Youtube (can't remember who did it) sorry I can't give you props for inspiring me.

Anyway I did a clear base and did a slanted tip using a yellow stripper, then added a Blue strip using XO Blue glitter stripper. I learnt how to make flowers so I added one yellow and one white. I was really pleased with how it turned out and decided I should really try some of the brighter colours.

Hope you enjoyed this post.

See you soon

Take care

Nail Challenge Week One - Blue

My good friend Meera and I started this 52 week nail challenge so I'm going to show you some of my contributions to this cause and how we choose our themes.
First off we researched a little and found all different types of manis wrote them down and each week we chose what theme that we're going to be doing for the next week.

Week one was Blue and I three for this just because I was experimenting I took pics of all but somehow they magically disappeared.

But this is the collage I had made of all of them

Jordana's Bright Blue (which I learnt is more like a jelly) with a fimo flower or is it just a smiley face

Ok so that's Week One. Don't worry my photography skills got better with time. lol

Take care

Pink Romance

Hiddy Ho guys

I saw this polish and by the look in the bottle I knew I had to have it. The bottle itself shows a dusty Pink not  to bright and not to dull but when place on my nails it just popped and began to show it's true colours.
This is Jordana's Pink Romance and doesn't it look oh so romantic. I'm still playing around with  my camera trying to find the best setting for it but these pics were taken with my phone and at night and somehow even with flash the background shows up dark.

This is what it looks like in the bottle compared to may nails which it two coats. I could have gotten away with just one but I opted for two and dry time was amazing i went to sleep and got up and there were no marks on the polish. *happy dance, happy dance*.

Do you own this polish? What are your views on it because I love it and I not really a fan of pink.

Ok see you soon

Take care.

I've been MIA for a while I know and I'm trying to get back in the groove of things. Between work and all that I come home so tried I don't even feel like blogging but I'm going to schedule a couple of post so if I get super busy again I won't seem bad.

I promised you the review of May's 2nd Edition GGB so here it is:

Look at this adorable pouch it came in

And here are the contents

2 pigments (stroke and MAC Heritage Rouge)
An Elf defining Eye Brush
A Nabi laquer Nail Polish in Purple Glitter
A sample of Halener Rustique's Face Primer
A pot with a sample of blue face pigment.
Also a "Special Feature" product which was a "LIKE MAC" lipstick. Mine was #06.

Here they are again (yes and my desk)

Here is a swatch of the lipstick it's more of a nude pink colour which I really like

Included in this GGB was a description card detailing what the GGB included and a small description of each item and their retail value. This was cool since now if I decide to get some stuff I already know some of the prices
