French Tip Stickers

Happy Hump Day or should I say Happy day before the long weekend to all the Trinbagonians.

I recently got these stickers in a GGB and they gave me so much trouble to use but I decided to give it one more try but this time using a thinner polish to see if it would do the trick. See my last attempt at using these stickers here.

For my base I used Kleancolor's Holo Chrome then put on the stickers how I wanted it. I then used LA Colors Splash over it. I let it get half dry before I even attempted to take it off.

And Wahla the final product. It still raised the polish a bit but not so much to damage the whole design.

Here's a better look

What do you think about it? Would you recommend doing it another way to get a better effect?
Let me know what your thoughts are on these stickers.

Swatch Me - Jolly Holly

I'm back, briefly!

I picked up this polish at the Wonderful World sale and I must admit I really like it.
It has a really Christmassy feeling when you look at it, it reminds me of red and green Christmas decorations and I guess the name itself portrays Christmas. China Glaze - Jolly Holly.

I even added one of the sticker I had bought.

Do you like this colour? Would you wear it?

Let me know what you think.

Trendy Thursday - Favorite Colour

Hi gals and welcome to another edition of Trendy Thursday.

Today's Mani: FAvorite Polish
My Take: Blue Garden
Polishes Used: Sinfulcolors "Grecian Sun"

I have really fallen in love with this particular polish, so much so that I wear it almost every chance I get. It's just the right shade of blue, not to dark and not too light.

I started a gradient with a teal  and then decided to just add some flower stickers. Please excuse the half flower on the pinky.

Well I hope you like this colour as much as I do.

Now head over to Meera's Blog and check see what her favourite polish is.

Swatch Me - Peace On Earth

Tuesday and I have a love hate relationship.
I'm glad it's not Monday but somehow the day takes longer to finish.

This is China Glaze's Peace on Earth, it's a nice olive green colour with a gold undertone. Trying to take pictures to show the green was such a challenge since it kept showing the gold when in light and with the flash. The green however could be seen when looking at it.

I applied 2 coats and it was so opaque. I really like this colour and I think I'll try it for stamping as well.

I know it's from a couple years back but I still find that it's a nice colour.

What do you think?

Swatch Me - Brownstone

Goooooood morningggggg!!!!

I'm in a particularly great mood so I thought I just dive right in and push out a couple of posts today, (that is once no one bugs me).

So this is China Glazes Brownstone, a really creamy polish that's a cross between red and brown. It's a really pretty colour.

This colour was unexpected since I wasn't looking for it to be so beautiful and compliment my complexion.
It went on smoothly, I might have gotten away with one coat but I put two just to be on the safe side, it was so opaque.

Dry time was less than 5 minutes.

On the accent I put one coat of Kleancolor's Salsa Much and that just took the cake.

Do you like this colour? Leave me a comment and let me know.

Don't forget to join me over at Bloglovin as well since Google Reader will be leaving us soon.

Random Nail Art

Happy Hump Day

So this started off as a tutorial but I didn't like how it came out.
However I still like how some of them turned out.

I actually used the french tip stickers to get this design but i think the stickers were a bit to sticky or I did something wrong with it but it did not turn out good.

Tell me what you think.

Swatch Me - Bite Me

Happy Belated Mamas Day to all you lovely mamas.

I have been trying to get this post up all day but the internet on work is being temper mental. However I am preparing this post and will schedule it for later this afternoon since I'm not sure when the internet will stop giving trouble and I hope I don't loose it.

Anyway I hope all you lovely ladies and a wonderful Mother's Day.
Now on to polish. I picked this up a couple weeks ago and was so excited to try it even though I'm not much a fan of red (i find it stains your nails).

This particular red had red micro glitters floating around inside it as well so that caught my eye.

I just love how you can see the glitters just shining through.
I made it even more spectacular I added a matte top coat.

I absolutely adore how this colour looks when it's matte, you can catch a glimpse of the glitters peeking through. Believe it or not this was only one coat and it is so opaque and surprisingly dried really fast.

What do you think about this colour? Do you like it, Would you wear it?
Leave me a comment and let me know.

Until next time.
